Timotej Jacko from Liptovské Sliače (Ružomberok district) works with leather and metal alongside his regular employment, “after hours” as he says. He was brought to this craft through his interest in traditional clothing and shepherding culture, in which he finds his inspiration even today. His work also deals with discovering and preserving cultural heritage. In his opinion, his products should not be only decorative, but above all functional objects which remain a living part of everyday life.
