She had a close connection to crafts from a young age, growing up in a village where traditional products were part of her life. She began working with wire in 2007 after completing a craft course at the ÚĽUV, where she was taught by master craftsmen Ladislav Jurovatý Jr. and Oľga Obertová. Janette Imrová specializes in creating sculptural and flat wire sculptures with zoomorphic and anthropomorphic themes.

She works with galvanized, silver-plated, or copper wire, sometimes incorporating wooden accessories, semiprecious stones, or beads. For sculptures and reliefs, she mainly uses loop weaving, and for jewelry, she also utilizes free-form wire shaping. She finds inspiration in the beauty of nature, spirituality, handcraft, and life in general. She believes that beauty makes people better and hopes that her work contributes to that. Her wire creations have found their way to almost every corner of the world.
