Hand-embroidered tablecloth on coarse linen using the technique of the slanted needle. The set includes a runner – 1 pc and napkins – 4 pcs. The author was inspired by patterns from the Detva region.
She learned to embroider with a curved needle at the age of 15 from a family friend, Mrs. Holíková, a embroiderer from Očová. However, she had to master the technique details on her own. She prefers patterns from the Podpoľanie region, which she mainly draws from Mrs. Holíková, but also from Mrs. Kurnasová from Zvolenská Slatina and other sources. Her range mainly consists of tablecloths, doilies, belts, pictures, and handbags. This hobby has enchanted her and brings her joy
