The painting in a wooden frame is created using the underpainting on glass technique. The motif of the Seven Sorrows of the Virgin Mary is a loose replica of a historical glass underpainting found in the vicinity of Levoča (Source: Pišútová, I .: Glass Paintings, Center of Folk Art Production, 2010). The painting’s dimensions are given together with the wooden frame.
