Hand-thrown on a potter’s wheel from reddish-brown clay, coated with white clay on four fifths of the surface, a simple geometric pattern applied with a horn (gurgle) using colored clays – dots, triple dots, pulled spiral, or other pattern. Possible color variations including negative – glaze ranging from dark brown to black. After the first firing, coated with a transparent colorless glaze and fired again. Design by Eva Kramplová
