The mug is hand-thrown on a potter’s wheel of conical shape, the handle is attached with slip and fired once, covered with white opaque glaze, decorated with geometrical or botanical colored (monochromatic) design painted with majolica colors – various variations, fired for a second time in an electric ceramic kiln.
