In his carving creations, he uses diverse stylistic improvisation: sometimes a simple shape of wood taken to the maximum simplification of form, other times detailed relief drawings closely tied to expressing the characters of individual figures, mostly women as mothers, lovers, or saints. The author also patinates his creations with color, giving them dramatic tension and vitality with strong emotional charge. He has had an emotional connection to wood since childhood – constantly whittling with a pocket knife. In Štúrovo next to the Danube, he had a cottage where he carved “monuments” from floated wood using an axe. In 2002, he successfully completed a carving course at ÚĽUV. He prefers walnut, cherry, chestnut, linden, agate, oak, birch, with motifs of male and female nudes.
