An interview with Kristin Tollefson on searching in the land of wireworkers

Kristin Tollefson is an American artist and teacher who works in the state of Washington. Her work focuses on the interaction between the senses and its objects, examining the relationship between people and environment. In addition to her artistic activities, where she moves between jewellery-making, sculpture and writing, she is also an educator. In 2023, she worked in Slovakia as part of a wireworking research study programme supported by the Fulbright programme.
