Overlapping: Inspiration for the Young Generations

ÚĽUV in 2024 established cooperation with another Art School, the School of Design – Bohumil Bača Private School of Art Industry in Bratislava. Within the framework of this school, students of the Graphic Design Department worked on the theme of the logo for the 80th anniversary of ÚĽUV with application to promotional items in the form of an assignment. The students of the Fashion Design Department created models and accessories inspired by traditional folk textile techniques or elements of clothing. The “Overlapping: Inspiration for the Young Generations” exhibition showcases the creativity of the four disciplines of the School of Design – fashion design will present the pieces made of blueprints; logotypes, books, wrappers and typography will be presented by graphic design; functional objects were created in the industrial design studio and the sources of folklore were tapped into in graphic and interior design.
