Lucia Šlamiarová
Emil Tokár comes from the village of Vyšný Slavkov (Levoča district), which lies under the Branisko mountain near Spiš castle. He spent his childhood there, surrounded by beautiful countryside and folk traditions, and he continues to find inspiration for his work in these memories. He came to painting of glass through his daughter; as a trained restorer, he had all the prerequisites.
