Lately, we have been seeing more and more often that individual areas, sectors, documents and policies need to be connected as much as possible, and it is truly positive to see that it is also happening between such institutions as the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic and the Centre for Folk Art Production. In the past, individual sectors often dealt with their own topics and agendas separately, but from this perspective our country’s long-term journey, as well as that of the global society – is impossible.
It is encouraging that people are beginning to talk more and more about integrating nature protection and biodiversity into various sectors, including culture and the protection of traditional knowledge.
