In a globalised world, international cooperation in the field of crafts takes on a new meaning. It opens up space for creativity, innovations and mutual understanding; it allows us to share experience, techniques and values which reach beyond country borders. In this issue, we bring you in our Polemika [Polemics] section feature the voices of figures from Europe’s craft sector. We asked them about their participation in inspirational international projects, and what this cooperation had given to their professional work, for the development of craft in their country and for the joint European cultural area.
