Masters of the New Millennium, a new book from the workshops of the Centre for Folk Art Production (ÚĽUV), pays homage in the institution’s jubilee year to master producers across the generations. It contains the stories of 55 producers awarded the title of Master of Folk Art Production from 2011 to 2019. Each of the masters is – just as their predecessors – a personality with an original approach which makes their work unique. The majority of the stories in the book Masters of the New Millennium are the result of interviews in person with the producers over the course of five years. Others, for example with people who are no longer with us, are based on texts preserved in the magazine Craft, Art, Design. You can read this publication online at www.uluv.sk.
