A special edition of the international conference of contemporary jewellery in Bratislava, Šperk Stret 2015 CZ/SK edition, following the tradition aimed at increased awareness of this artistic discipline, was a meeting of professionals and experts not only from the branch of artistic jewellery and design. This year lecture series on 25 September 2015 in Café Berlinka (SNG Bratislava) mapped the topic of Czech and Slovak contemporary author jewel. It illustrated various views and approaches to jewellery created by the young generation which perceives jewel as a designer object, or even an artistic concept. One of the aims of the conference was to provoke an interdisciplinary research and open a forum for a dialogue and a discussion about this artistic, or even designers‘ discipline.
