What is the present day textile art like? Engaged, full of emotions, lightsome with a gentle measure of humour, but also innovative and linked to mobile applications. Once in three years there is an international touring exhibition in Slovakia presenting the current artistic textile creation. Textile (Art of Today) invites only professional artists and students of art schools. Incidentally, 230 artists of 41 countries had been applying for it. The jury selected works by 76 authors, out of which 13 were students, all presenting their work at the Bratislava Castle until 13 December 2015. Later on, it will be shown in Poprad, Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
