The manufacturer specializes in producing decorative objects from used old wood – mainly components of folk furniture or archaic work tools found in the attic or shed. He has been active since 2019 and found his way to creation by chance – while preparing for state exams, when he wandered into his old grandmother’s attic. Initially, he devoted himself only to collecting old wooden objects, but gradually started to consider their further use. The impulse for his creation was an old, worm-eaten board from a grain storage (granary). He was also inspired by Miloslav Jaroš, a producer and master of folk art production. By playing with pieces of old wood, gradually simplifying their shapes, and artistically stylizing them, he creates new objects, mainly horses of various shapes and sizes. In his work, he tries to incorporate the original shape, or its fragment, into the shape of the new object. This sometimes creates an acceptable shape deformation, adding uniqueness to the final product. He also uses another material – metal – which complements the objects not only artistically, but also helps in the stability of the products.
