She learned to lace from her mother in childhood. When lace-making, she preserved traditional patterns from Špania Dolina. She worked at the clothing production cooperative in Zvolen. In 1980, she obtained a certification as a master of folk art crafts in the field of lace-making, awarded by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Competence of Workers in Folk Art Crafts.
