He learned to weave from the master of folk art production J. Aláč. He collaborated with ÚĽUV since 1965. He perfectly mastered the preparatory work in wool processing and the weaving of tapes, specializing mainly in brown. His tapes were of high quality with outstanding density and long hair. In 1989, he obtained a certificate of qualification as a master of folk art production in the field of tape weaving, awarded by the Commission for assessing the professional competence of workers in folk art production.
