A native of the village of Divina comes from among 4 brothers. Since childhood, he was inclined towards creative work, such as oil painting or landscape painting, but later he began to focus on working with wood. In 1980, he started collaborating with the ÚĽUV, where he was mainly involved in materializing the designs of the artist Janka Menkynova. Together with his brothers Vincent and Peter, they produced collections of flat wooden toys combined with natural leather. Later, they expanded their range to include sets of furniture and houses of various shapes and sizes. In the 1990s, he turned his passion for wood into a profession and expanded his production range to include practical and gift items. When making boxes and jewelry containers, he uses fruit woods, while for toys it is mainly maple and poplar wood. None of his products are chemically preserved; he treats them with natural linseed oil or wax. When working with wood, he strives to find suitable material with beautiful grain and highlight its natural beauty. His products are characterized by high quality craftsmanship and surface finish.

In 2008, he obtained a certificate recognizing his qualifications as a master of folk art production in the field of wood production, awarded by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Competence of Folk Art Production Workers.
