Since 1990, she has been intensively focusing on the technique of decorating Easter eggs. She has acquired knowledge and skills from available literature and her own years of experience with this work. While she mostly uses coloring waxes for decoration, she also masters other techniques of egg decorating such as batik, perforation, scratching, and covering with straw.

In her designs, she uses traditional geometric, botanical, and more recently also figurative motifs. She uses eggshells from chicken, duck, and increasingly rare ostrich eggs as a base. The decor and color composition of the elements used reflect her natural vitality and freshness. She gratefully passes on her acquired craftsmanship to others as an instructor of courses and participant in numerous events of traditional culture increasingly connected with the development of tourism at home and abroad.

In addition to Easter egg decorating, she also engages in various folk embroidery techniques. She is a collector and enthusiastic promoter of folk art, for which she has created a so-called “old believer’s room” in her family home.

Annually, she participates Days of Masters in the Upper Nitra region and in Hrušov, as well as internationally in Austria, Italy, Belgium, and Poland. She works as a course instructor at the Upper Nitra Center in Prievidza and at the Liptov Museum in Pribylina.
