After completing the vocational school – wood carver and secondary vocational school – furniture and interior designer worked as a furniture designer. At ÚĽUV, he started working as a carpenter in 1985. He was the only producer at that time who manufactured furniture from hard oak wood. Various designs of chairs, armchairs, as well as cabinets and club tables came out of his workshop. In addition to this production, he also devoted himself to turning and carving work. In 1992, he obtained a certificate recognizing the qualification of master of folk art production in the field of wood production – folk furniture, awarded by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Competence of Workers in Folk Art Production.
