He made his way to basket weaving through various crafts, trying work with wire and ceramics. However, basket weaving appealed to him the most for its technological and material availability. In 2005, he enrolled in a basket weaving course organized by Master Zeman in Stara Tura. The immense enthusiasm from the course reassured him that his choice was correct. That same year, he established his own wickerwork with several types of cultivated willows. He crafts his products from bark, boiled peeled, and peeled in the pith. The assortment of products consists of utility and decorative items. He participates in craft fairs. In 2007 and 2008, he took part in the All-Slovak Basket Weaving Meeting in Rudnik, where he won first prize in both editions at the Exhibition of Unconventional Basket Weaving Products and Curiosities with his tower and apple tree products.
