She grew up in a picturesque lace-making village, where all girls and women knew how to crochet lace. She began collaborating with ÚĽUV only in retirement age in 1980. She mastered the multi-pair lace of the Špaňodolinský type, where the geometric pattern is outlined with a thicker or colored thread. The pattern thus stands out more and acquires a three-dimensional appearance. She also crocheted smaller edgings for blankets, tablecloths, and tea sets. In 1988, she was awarded a certification as a master of folk art production in the lace industry, granted by the Commission for assessing the professional skills of folk art production workers.
