She grew up in an environment where lace making had a long-standing tradition. She learned how to make lace as a child. She started working with the ÚĽUV in 1971. She devoted herself to old Hungarian patterns of bobbin lace – strip lace shaped according to a pre-drawn motif. She also mastered whole lace patterns – apples, waves, eights with leaves arranged in a circle and squares. In addition to the old Hungarian patterns, she also made lace borders with a Gemer pattern with tassels. In 1990, she obtained a certificate of recognition as a master of folk art production in the field of lace, awarded by the Commission for assessing the professional competence of workers in folk art production.
