She is one of the representatives of contemporary multi-pair lace. A native of Podbrezová, she lives in Banská Bystrica. Bobbin lace is her hobby. She began as a self-taught artist, later graduating from the Lace School in Vamberk – Czech Republic. Since 1980, she has been dedicated to lace professionally. Over the years of active work, she has reached the stage of her own creations. She has shared her knowledge in two publications. Her greatest passion is bobbin lace as a part of modern clothing. Lýdia Dejlová has exhibited her work in ten European countries. She has been active since 1972.
