He is a trained silver craftsman. He worked in a metalwork workshop in Ružomberok. In 1974, he started collaborating with the ÚĽUV. He produced decorative filigree and embossed pipe tampers and collections of jewelry: bracelet – ring – necklace with colored inlaid decoration made of brass and alpaca. Later, he also collaborated on decorative hairpins, clothing accessories, and pendants. He masters the techniques of casting, embossing, engraving, glass enameling, and metal inlay. He also produced knives and cutlery cast in pewter. In 1982, he obtained a certificate of recognition as a master of folk art production in the metalworking industry, awarded by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Qualifications of Folk Art Production Workers.
