She learned to weave wicker baskets at the Basketry Cooperative in Sered. She was active in this area of production from 1960. In 1965, she started working at ULUV. During her time at ULUV, she created a wide range of products from fine wicker – baskets for vegetables, fruits, bread, and Easter eggs, placemats, trays, and bowls of various shapes. She combined white wicker with boiled wicker and enjoyed working with peeled wicker. Her small baskets had a playful charm and were very popular. In 1980, she obtained a certificate of recognition as a master of folk art production in the field of wicker production, awarded by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Qualifications of Workers in Folk Art Production.
