He started collaborating with ÚĽUV in 1972. He focused on making whistles from the Zborov region. Later, he switched to producing traditional furniture - tables, chairs, benches, and shelves. In 1986, he obtained a certificate recognizing his qualification as a master of folk art production in the woodworking sector, awarded by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Competence of Folk Art Workers.
