She learned how to weave in childhood from her mother. She wove white linen with red stripes woven in, typical for the area of Stara Lubovna. Later, when weaving, she drew inspiration from old patterns found on bedspreads and tablecloths from this region. Thanks to her skill, she managed to preserve the disappearing technique of weaving ždiar reituchov. In 1963, she obtained a certificate of qualification as a master of folk arts and crafts in the field of weaving, awarded by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Competence of Workers in Folk Arts and Crafts
