He graduated from the School of Arts and Crafts in Prague. He has been actively involved in ceramics since 1985. As he himself says, his work is his hobby and therefore he never sought a job in another field. Since 1993, he has become the owner of the slowly quieting Trstená ceramics. Thanks to his passion for work and other skilled craftsmen, the traditional production of this workshop continues to this day. Today, in addition to running the company, he still devotes himself to pottery. He also leads a Private Art School in Trstená, where he teaches the craft to the youngest. You can most often meet him at craft fairs, where in addition to selling, he demonstrates pottery on a traditional kick wheel
