A native of Bystřice pod Lopeníkem in Moravian Slovácko, she has been living in Liptovský Mikuláš since childhood. She worked as a dental technician, where her sense of detail and patience were utilized. Her work is characterized by detailed processing of individual figures. Common themes include characters from rural settings, and lately, she has been dedicated to carving nativity scenes. She presents her carving compositions energetically, with a relaxed way of expression. Her innate sense for wood developed in childhood, playing with friends in nature. Imagination, playfulness, and the effort to create toys were the impetus for her initial works. She earned the admiration of both children and adults when she made a rocking horse with a harness for a small dog. She returned to working with wood once her children had grown up, allowing her a bit more free time. She skillfully incorporates her professional experience as a dental technician into her woodwork. With sensitivity, imagination, and hard work, she brings to life the figures from her imagination. It seems as though all the little characters of village women and diverse motifs have always resided within her. Wood, especially linden, is held in her hands as a precious material, capturing rare moments of her inner world within it. Her work fills her with joy and satisfaction. Sculptures found in museum collections and private collections embody memories of her childhood and environment in which she grew up, as well as the people from her surroundings. She creates sculptures individually or groups them together to depict agricultural or artisan practices of disappearing trades. A special chapter, the culmination of her work, is her nativity scenes.
