Prominent representative of non-professional visual art in Slovakia. His carving works were presented at an exhibition in Bratislava and Zvolen in 1985. He specializes in carving tools and mangling pistons. He expanded ornamental, line-cut decoration with author low reliefs depicting musicians, animals, and scenes from life. He developed his own unique carving style and artistic concept of works. In the original composition, he utilizes artistic abbreviation and simplification. He finishes his products with a walnut mallet. In 1991, he obtained a qualification certificate as a master of folk art production in the field of woodworking, awarded by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Competence of Folk Art Production Workers.
