From the age of 16, he began to actively engage in drawing, painting, and woodcarving. In 1990, he won first place in the regional championships for the sculpture of Christ and later attended the Academy of Fine Arts, where he was mentored by the academic sculptor Štefan Partl. He has already created over three hundred woodcarving works with sacred and folk themes. He has participated in many exhibitions and demonstrations of production in Východná, Myjava, Nitra, Bratislava, and Olomouc. He has received a national award in Humenné, 3rd place, and an honorary mention in the regional round in Nitra.
