He has been involved in artistic blacksmithing since 2007. He trained in several private blacksmith workshops. He was fortunate to learn from masters such as Mr. Peter Mészáros from Košice, who specializes in producing tools for artistic crafts. His interest in crafting cold weapons led him to the workshop of Master Lasky, where he spent about a year. At the same time, he had the opportunity to work with Jozef Uhrecký, who is dedicated to artistic blacksmithing at a high professional level.
Finally, fate led him to Master Pavel Zlatoš’s workshop, where he had the opportunity to learn a lot. During his stay in Žilina, he also collaborated with Miro Hromada and other craftsmen.
He participated in an event called Blacksmith Days in Turčianske Teplice. He also had the opportunity to visit the mecca of blacksmithing in Ybzitz, Austria, where he was involved in the implementation of sculptures for sculptor Miguel Horn.
He currently works in his own workshop in Štítnik. He creates products according to his own designs, but primarily based on customers’ wishes. Each of his products is unique and original. In production, he prioritizes traditional blacksmithing techniques that he learned from his masters.
He strives to ensure that people do not forget this beautiful craft, which, through the elements, can breathe life into metal…
