Henrieta Tholt is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, Studio of Textile Creation in Space. In 2020, she obtained a doctoral degree in art with a dissertation on the topic of Folklore in textile creation.
In her artistic work, she focuses on the relationship between folk art and contemporary art in the textile medium. She specializes in a wide range of textile outputs and techniques – digital embroidery, weaving, taffeta, soft sculpture, textile jewelry, clothing, and accessories. She collaborates on the intercultural design project Amenge.
She is dedicated to pedagogical activities for children and adults in the field of visual culture, textile creation, and clothing history.
Currently, she collaborates with Úľuv as a member of the Open Studio committee and in the project Tradition in design.
