She wanted to sew from an early age, so she made clothes for dolls. She had a desire to study fashion design school, but she didn’t get in. She studied mechanical engineering instead, but during maternity leave, she returned to textiles by completing a course at a vocational school for fashion design. Since then, she has been dedicating herself to sewing as a hobby constantly. As she herself claims, the unprofessional form of production suits her, she feels that she can put her heart into it.
For the ÚĽUV, she currently complements the wooden products of her husband Milan Kvasnica (chair cushions, cradles, tablecloths). She most often uses indigo dye and linen for materials, and she harmonizes her products with their natural colors – blue, gray, bluish-gray. She focuses primarily on kitchen textiles (aprons, pot holders, tablecloths), but she also ventures into jewelry (especially necklaces), where she tries to use every remaining piece of fabric from the production of kitchen textiles.
