He made woven baskets from oak and hazel rods. He mastered perfectly the properties of the material, preparation, weaving, and shaping. In Pliešovce and the surrounding area, he was considered one of the most respected producers. He dedicated himself to making back baskets, which stood out for their fine technical craftsmanship and functional design. In 1960, the Commission for Assessing the Professional Qualification of Folk Art Craftspeople awarded him the qualification of master of folk art crafts in the field of rod basket production.
