From 1969 he dedicated himself to his passion, making Valachian shoes. He started cooperating with the ÚĽUV in 1973. He focused on making large, medium, and souvenir Valachian shoes. He decorated the leather with embossed brass and copper. The engraved motifs were drawn from traditional geometric patterns. In 1988, he obtained a master’s certificate in folk art production in the wood industry, granted by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Qualifications of Folk Art Workers.
