Since childhood, she enjoyed spending time on handcrafts – knitting, embroidery, and later also sewing clothes. She was inspired by her grandmother, who crocheted beautiful doilies, and also her mother, who sewed her clothes. During those times, it was common to mend things, and Marta Mésarošová already at the age of 15 received simpler tasks from her mother, through which she learned patience and thoroughness. She also had contact with ÚĽUV (Centre for Folk Art Production) from an early age, as her father worked there.

In 2005, she enrolled in a course on bobbin lace at the School of Crafts of ÚĽUV, a craft she had been devoted to for a long time. Later, she completed a wirecraft course and fell in love with that craft. Initially, she tried working with thick wires, but over time she moved on to more delicate jewelry and added making wire-wrapped fairies.

After some time, ÚĽUV offered her the first teaching opportunity – to work with children in the wirecraft course. And soon she also proved herself in courses for adults.
