The craftswoman has been dedicated to making products from husks since 1972. At that time, she was looking for work and, upon recommendation from a friend, she had the opportunity to make figurines from corn husks for the ÚĽUV. Along with her husband, they had a great passion for husk craft. They made various types of figurines and wooden components (little houses, nativity scenes, etc.) according to the sample book provided by the ÚĽUV. They obtained materials for production from friends and neighbors in the village, storing them in large quantities in the loft at her parents’ house.
