He continued the family tradition of pottery production. He excelled in producing traditional pottery from the Pukanec region. He actively started in production from 1948. A wide range of traditional shapes and patterns of cups, pots, lunch dishes, pitchers, bowls, and plates formed the assortment of his production. He also dedicated himself to pottery figurative art, such as producing piggy bank figurines. His tableware sets, which he designed in collaboration with Elena Štefová, were very successful. In 1959, he obtained a certificate acknowledging his qualification as a master of folk art pottery, awarded by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Competence of Folk Art Workers. For his work and merits in preserving and developing folk art production in Slovakia, he received several awards: a Commemorative Medal, Honorary Recognition from the Minister of Culture.
