In 1968, he started collaborating with the ÚĽUV (Center for Folk Art Production). He skillfully combined white willow with boiled and peeled. He was skillful in weaving the base of the basket, decorative wreaths, or a rimovka as well as fitting the top. He wove a countless number of baskets, which were mainly popular due to their high quality. In 1981, he obtained a certificate of recognition as a master of folk art production in the field of wickerwork, awarded by the Commission for Evaluating the Professional Qualifications of Folk Art Production workers.
