She learned to weave from her mother in childhood. For the Center for Folk Art Production, she wove characteristic fabrics for the Tatras region in a coarse rips weave. With this rips, she wove yardage for pillows. During weaving, she drew inspiration from traditional highlander fabrics – blankets, pillow covers, and parts of traditional costumes. In 1963, she obtained a master craftsman certificate in folk art production in the weaving industry, awarded by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Competence of Folk Art Production Workers
