He dedicated himself to the production of fujara, whistles, and twin pipes decorated in the traditional Detva way by etching with nitric acid. In addition to high-quality decoration, he excelled in tuning musical instruments, which also brought him several recognitions at home and abroad. In 1960, he obtained a certificate of qualification recognition as a master of folk art production of fujaras and whistles, awarded by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Competence of Folk Art Production Workers.
