She grew up in an environment where bobbin lace making was practiced in almost every household. As a small child, she learned to make colorful motifs with bobbins. In 1963, she began collaborating with the Folk Art Production Association. In addition to patterns for lace making, she also made lace edgings for economical tablecloths and coverlets. In 1986, she obtained a certification as a master of folk art production in the field of bobbin lace making, awarded by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Qualification of Workers in Folk Art Production.
