Occupationally, a mechanical locksmith, after Mr. Jozef Bučka’s passing from the same village, is a unique producer of baskets made from peeled and boiled willow on the upper Nitra. He is a disciple of this old master, who was known and sought after in the wider area. Using the weaving technique of boiled willow, he produces a wide range of products that are characterized by their strength, precision, shape purity, and aesthetic appearance – baskets, bowls, and trays for the household, interior accessories such as laundry baskets, tables, chairs, serving tables, flower stands, lampshades, and more.
