He was dedicated to the production of traditional Majolica products from the region of western Slovakia such as Modra and Dechtice. Active since 1943. He was inspired by the patterns of old Hutterites, constantly seeking new patterns, technological possibilities, new colors, experimenting with colors and glazes, just to find the best shade. He even made ceramic kilns for firing the goods himself. At one time, he had a Kasel kiln for wood firing in the courtyard of his house in Siladice, where he also experimented with smoked ceramics.

In his youth, he worked at the Slovak Folk Majolica in Modra, where he also focused on figurative sculpture (Adam Pranda: Contemporary Modra Figuralists). He led practical training at the Pezinok Vocational School for ten years. Later, as a co-founder of Majolica production in Siladice, he eventually became independent and, together with his wife Antonia, produced a wide range of traditional utilitarian and decorative Majolica products for the ÚĽUV. They raised four children, all of whom naturally dedicated themselves to the secrets of ceramic production. He participated in several joint and solo exhibitions at museums in Bratislava, Martin, Nitra, Trnava, Hlohovec, and Piestany.

He was awarded the title of Folk Artisan in 1981. In 2009, he posthumously received a qualification certificate as a master of folk art production in the field of ceramics, awarded by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Competence of Workers in Folk Art Production.
