He works at the Matador company in Púchov. His instrument-making was inspired by the repair of a whistle brought to him by his mother from the Folk Festivals in Detva at the end of the 1970s. His first whistle from the mid-1980s was made from the end of a brass tube. He created his first twin fujara according to Lengo’s manual Playing the Fujara – the body made of plastic pipes covered with cherry bark and painted black. He made end pipes, six-hole whistles, from plastic, which he wrapped in hemp, birch, or cherry bark. Since the 1990s, he started using wood instead of plastic. In the decorative design of the instrument bodies, he likes to use the national coat of arms of Slovakia. He is a skilled solo instrumentalist on the whistle. His musical instruments can be found in museums throughout Slovakia.
