She learned bobbin lace making from her mother as a child. She started with the simplest “coins,” progressed to multi-pair designs, and then onto complex edgings for bedspreads and tablecloths. She began collaborating with the ÚĽUV in 1974. She also created deep-embossed motifs. In 1984, she obtained a qualification certificate as a master of folk art production in the lace sector, granted by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Skills of Folk Art Workers.
