She learned to crochet from her mother already in childhood. She mastered all types of Spanish lace. In 1985, she obtained a certificate recognizing her qualification as a master of folk art crafts in the field of lace, issued by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Competence of Workers in Folk Art Craftsmanship.
